End of my BTR-50 Medevac saga....
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: End of my BTR-50 Medevac saga....
I thought I'd share with some of you that my quest for pics of the modified BTR-50 in South Lebanese Service was tough because the vehicle was never used by them. Its a fiction as the vehicle was a one off and never used, then given to the Israeli museum where it was finished off in the blue paint. I asked a fellow who has written a well received series of books about the varied AFVs used in Lebanon, so there's my source. Thought I'd pass it on.
