The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Wow!!! It looks like some kind of propulsion unit cobbled up from the bogie and transmission of a Sherman and the trailing wheel of a Stuart. I wonder what the engine is? Do you have any other pictures? I'm wondering what it is connected to. My first thought is some kind of construction equipment.

This is shown with several photos in one of the issues of Allied-Axis put out by Ampersand Publishing. I don't remember if it was self-propelled, might have been just a tracked bogie system.
