Any ideas what this is/was?
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

As you can probably guess, I'm not doing much today (Man-flu!) so I'm letting rip with Google pictures and any terms with tank (in any language!)
Found this one, Shumshu, Kuril Islands.

From gorod.tomsk.ru/index-1...omment_id=
(Couple of other tank shots, Chi-Ha remains?)

Cheers John!
I'm agreeing with you.

Apparently, a 50 ft Tsunami struck the Islands in the 1950s, so quite a bit of stuff may have been washed away or buried by it.
