M2A2/M2A3?
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Agreed, M2A3 was M2A2 with rear bogies further back so not discernible from this view, AFAIK.

Isn't this the "Mae West" model with the, uhhh...prominent "huge tracts of land" turrets? I think Ft. Knox had one of these, and that I saw the one at APG just being completed when I visited with BobS. Have some nice pics of that one here at home.

Yup, this is what is, or was, at Knox. I think the M2A2 and M2A3 are pretty close as far as looks go.

M2A3.

Cupola on M2A2 50cal turret was rounded not angular.

Cannot claim the credit here - I was reading about the M2 on JED when I remembered the question
