Our plans and trips to military museums
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Some of them are outside, but the most are inside. The oldest part of the museum will be a challenge for a dedicated photograph. The newest part wont be a problem.

visit the Bulge/ardennes area. The tanks that I would see are :

Do you know were all these Leopards are. Over the years I have seen only the following;

1 x Leopard 1 outside near the gate
1 x Leopard 1 outside on a railroadcar
1 x Leopard 1A1A4 inside
1 x Leopard 1A2A1 inside
1 x Leopard 1A5 outside
1 x Leopard 1A4 inside

Around and in Munster are several barracks with other tanks also, some visible from the outside.

Lesley The ones from your list are all still there, only the 1A5 has been placed inside. The ones I have and are missing on your list are: A driver training version: seen several years ago, but was missing last year. The working group A prototype: located inside. I have most of the serials and some pictures at my website, if you need some high resolution pictures ust let me know. Michel
