We’ve posted a gallery of photos from the Combat Air Museum – Topeka, KS to the site.
Along with a great collection of aircraft (including some cool rarities) they have a Scorpion on display. It’s listed in the registry as an M56 but the fenders look like the T101s in Nashville and Austin, so I labeled it as a T101.
The items of AFV interest are posted first - followed by the aircraft.

Is this the museum that recently acquired the M551? Or is that in Wichita?

Did you stop at the KSARNG Museum? You had to drive right past it to get to the Combat Air Museum

I was kinda' looking for the F-11 Blue Angels plane in our pics, but didn't see it. Has it moved on?

I remember the EC-121 there well.

Here's an interesting and almost spooky story about the F-11 Angel that crashed off Alabama years ago...

Doug - I was looking for the F-11 too! I remember seeing it, but I don't seem to have any photos! Oops!
I looked again - turns out the only shots of it are by Mrs VB and unfortunately I'm standing in front of the plane! Good photo of me, but not so much of the plane!
It was there at the time and is still listed on the museum's website.

Tanker2010 - We didn't get a chance to stop in at the KSARNG museum - I don't think I even knew about it at the time.
Back then we were visiting more air museums than anything else. I know - Blasphemy!!
