Saumur
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Good to know, thanks Smile
I am going to do the same. Pictures aren't superb quality, but they cover some interesting subject.

More than 500 shots just uploaded on Flickr, including subjects usually not visible, inside depot or workshop:

I saved every photo of this set showing the reserves on the computer. >The museum has a policy to track down every photo of the backyards/reserves and ask the owner to remove them from the internet. That's less true with photos of the museum itself. So, the photos showing the reserves should not last very long there.

AMX-13 Au 50 (105mm) has r/n 618 0018. I can't help on the AMX-13 Au F3, the camo net covers it, sorry.

I also saw AMX-30 r/n 638 0292. It was outdoor:

Massimo,

do you have the painted Registration Numbers of the AMX-13 Au F3 (155m) and the AMX-13 Au 50 (105mm) which are part of the temporary display?? For sure, they come from the reserves, but I don't know which ones they are exactly.

The AMX-13 VCI seen below was stored outside for a while .

Here we can see the same vehicle, when it was stored outside, in 2008-2009. This is before it got a high-pressure cleaning, which removed some of the first layer of paint :

thanks

Talking about AMX-13s, here is a series of variants on the AMX-13 hull. Quite a few are pretty esotic, interesting vehicles that you can hardly see elsewhere.

they have a lot of AMX-13 based artillery in the museum's reserves, you can see it on the France AFVs register.

I know, the France AFVs register helped me when I had to identify quite a few vehicles, especially AMX-13 variants.

A shame that a great part of the indoors storage is occupied by common AMX-13 based vehicles, and that some rare and interesting vehicles like the Sherman DD, M4A3 Ford, M4A2 FMW are rustng away outside !!

Very true Sad

The Museum has a small area dedicated to temp displays, that usually change each year. It gives an excellent opportunity to see artifacts that are usually keep in storage. Like this AMX-13 Au F3 155mm:
