Philippine Armor pictures
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Great pictures, especially like the Sherman on the beach. I'm heading to the Philippines myself later this year, will have to stop and visit some of those places, job willing of course!

Thanks

I would guess that it's a 50 Cal. I think those are 2 rows of 3 smoke launchers on each side of the turret.

But I'm only guessing

Well, they were serious about their smoke! .50 for the turret? Pretty big for an older Commando.

I'm guessing based on the barrel I see sticking out. I seem to remember the Commando offering twin .30s as one option and a .50 as another.

But then I could be remembering it wrong
