IDF museum and Tank Museum Latrun
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

M31 recovery vehicle. Do it to death, please!

And I'd like to see how their Sheridan is looking these days.

My advice is to hunt a bit. I photographed everything when I visited, but I heard afterwards I'd missed some tucked away - so have a look around for obscure corners, exit roads, maintenance areas, etc. It's a big place, give yourself a full day if you can (especially if you want to do walkarounds, etc.).

And of course (I'm sure it goes without saying) all serial numbers would be really appreciated! (I wish I knew then what I know now about where to look for them).

I wonder why. Was a reason given? If no one knows what they have, why would anyone be interested?

Happy to see all and everything that you can post Armyjunk2. One can never get bored studying Israeli armor.
In particular, I am working on an M51 and a Centurion, so if you have any pics of those tanks that would be appreciated.

How did you find things? Shhhh... did you happen to get pics of any active units, armor, road blocks, check points when the eyes werent watching you? Very understandable if you didnt. Getting the urge to be a smart ass and tell un-pc jokes, better quit, the caffeine must be kicking in this a.m...

Thanks,
Shawn
