Auburn M56 Scorpion, Kent M60A3 & Lakewood Scorpion
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: Auburn M56 Scorpion, Kent M60A3 & Lakewood Scorpion
M56 Scorpion at the Auburn Memorial Park. The data plate is on the right side, in front of the gunner's position, albeit a little bit in front of the gun mount... Best I could tell its SN 90 - which makes some sense since TACOM says SN 92 is in Forks WA.







This M60A3 is at the 1-303 Cavalry Armory in Kent. Unfortunately, its behind a fence and I got there rather late to be asking to poke around... But I did manage to get some through-fence shots...









Thankfully Alf Adams got the SN & RN a couple of years ago: SN 3534, RN JJ01N6.

I also found the Scorpion owned by Tactical Tailor/gunshop in Lakewood - even if I got at least one strange look as I was leaving, of the "what're you doing snooping around, you with the govm't or something?" variety...

Unfortunately it was under wraps... And painted in US Army digital camo...
