Hi All,

Here are a few shots from Macon, GA.

It's an active installation, so we couldn't shoot on base.

Hence the across the street, through the fence, trying not to get arrested photos!!

What the heck is the AFV that looks like an M114 with no hatchy doo-dad? Yes, that IS the technical term.

The wingy thingy is an OV-1 Mohawk:

I'll let other people figuring out the no hatchy one in full details, but it smells like an M114 or something along those lines.

Incidentally, I've taken lots of pictures of vehicles at ARNG installations without problem before - although the force protection fences (and in some cases Jersey barriers) sprouting up around many often get in the way...

More specifically, Grumman OV-1D s/n 62-5875, ex-MASDC YA0082. Interestingly, Joe Baugher quotes it as having crashed in Arizona in 1985.
