I was looking at the Fort Irwin web site. I noticed there is no 3/11 ACR listed. Has it always been this way or has the 3rd Squardon been deactivated? I also could not find a link to 221st Cav (Nevada Nat'l Guard). Are they still part of the 11th ACR? Also noticed they now have a 916th Support Brigade. That's a new one on me.

Here's the 1-221 Cav - for a while they filled in as the only OPFOR while the 11th deployed...

1/221st is currently deployed. They shipped not that long after 11th returned.

I wonder why the NTC web site does not include them?

OFF TOPIC~A couple days ago a Nye County (Nevada) Sheriff Deputy was shot to death. He had been back on duty only two days after returning from Iraq. He was with 1/221 Cav. He took three rounds from an SKS rifle all because a guy was having a fight with his girlfriend. Pretty sad state. The only good news is other deputies took out the gunman. No trial for that piece of s***!
