Tanks ''found'' on google earth
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

''Found'' some tanks using google earth; Hungary Nemesmedves N 46 59.893 E 016 24.112, T-34/85, monument Hortobagy N 47 34.883 E 021 09.514, T-34/85, monument There should be a T-34 in the small town of Nagykanizsa, although I couldn't find it. Moldavia Criuleni, N 47 12.128 E 029 11.421, T-34/85, monument Latvia Zante, Kurzeme Wartime Museum, IS-2? Regards, Lesley

Thanks! The vehicles (KFOR BMPs) at the 2nd and 3rd grid have probably something to do with the importance of this area for the Serb people. This is the location of the battle of Kosovo Polje (Plain of Blackbirds) in 1389. Nice monument of a M113 (if I see it correctly Regards, Lesley
