CVC Helmets?
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. Note the 'hats' these guys have on under their helmets. Are these some sort of tanker helmets? Also note their 1st AD patch over their pockets. _________________ "TUMBLEWEED"

They look to be standard World War II type tanker helmets under their steel pots. The steel helmet was often used over the tanker helmet which acted like a helmet liner. _________________ armorfortheages.com/

...and at least 4 of the 5 are wearing shoulder holsters. The guy on the right might also have one, slung from left to right, hard to be sure. I'd guess either tankers, or TD guys.
