The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: 21 days to the big show!

In only 21 days the Kansas Expocentre in Topeka will be filling with almost 150 operational military vehicles - tanks, halftracks, Jeeps, HMMWVs - AND even more armor models! If you are within a few hundred miles, it will be well-worth driving, flying, swimming, walking, hitch-hiking or bobsledding to this event!

Registrations have already been received from five continents and most states (no kidding). Over 300 vendor tables have been sold (and only a handful remain available - and must be pre-reserved, no spaces available day of show). Wares being offered range from the tiniest resin castings, photo etch, plastic, books, videos, manuals on up to and including full-sized armor.

Tours, seminars, auctions (silent and live) continuous movie screenings, authors, veterans, family-friendly tours too - plus a picnic, a bar-b-que and a banquet.
