The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

do you think that this vehicle is still in its original WW2 paint and markings?

My guess is that it is a repaint, possibly for a film job?

It is a rather late example (note the "FORD CANADA" stamping under the headlights), so I wonder when the Germans could have captured such a late example?

According to this web page, they were Lend-Leased to the Soviets: www.o5m6.de/chevy_c60l.html (scroll dwon for the Ford version)
