End of an Era: The Ordnance Museum moves- a set on flickr
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: End of an Era: The Ordnance Museum moves- a set on flickr

If you go to the flickr photo sharing site- www.flickr.com and type in the header in the subject above, you should get to view a nice set of photos showing various tanks and self-propelled guns being loaded for shipment to Ft. Lee. There's also a section on the Ft Monmouth equipment which has been shipped to Aberdeen recently. Also a large section of photos showing "Anzio Annie" being packaged for shipment. Certainly some members have found these already.

I've posted some 1984 and 1986 photos in my photo gallery of M60A2's at APG. A few have Dozer blades or fittings for them. Some photos were in the restricted area, but I was permitted there with a Public Affairs official.
