Dear Colleagues,
please inform us if you know something about Marmon-Herrington tank. On the internet I came across two pieces of information that talks about this machine.

The owner of this photograph says it was made around 1970. No information, where it was taken.

Year 2009 - unknown "cafe" in the Disneyland.

Both are back in 1959. I've been to Disneyland many times, am familiar where that area is, but have never seen the tank.

The first time I went to Disneyland was in 1980's.

I think this is what is called the Bob Hope tank. It was made for a Bob Hope movie from an experimental CTL-3 Marmon Harrington tank in the 1940's. For the movie the original armor was removed and a sheet metal mock up of a M1 Combat Car was added. It is owned by the American Society of Military History in El Monte, CA.
