M60A3 in Kinder, LA
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: M60A3 in Kinder, LA
I spent a couple of hours this past Saturday looking for this tank:

W506 M60A3, Tank, Combat, Full Tracked,105mm Vietnam Veterans Assoc. #215 Kinder LA

Every person that I asked for info for directions gave me the same directions...2 blocks North of 190 and 165 intersection, next to the gazebo. Well all I can find there is this:



Not exactly a tank is it! Laughing

Finally got in touch with the president of the VVA chapter in Kinder. They will have an M60 "soon". They applied for one and were given the okay to have one. They have transportation available. Just need to finish the paperwork and pick it up. I have been invited to the "arrival" party, whenever that is.
