Post subject: Oh just one more Car Thread ...... please!

OK I know I've been acting more like a gearhead lately than a Wild Sau....getting better now.......but I gotta share this!

I know that the topic of lil' english cars with good strong Amurcan V8's have been a favorite topic in the past with some of us (Ascout!!).....a co-worker turned me on to this site here which is chock FULL ofsome great examples....

But the bestpart is THIS one - because this is my co-worker's car, a TR6 with a Ford V8 that I've drooled over in the parking lot on Fridays many times.....it used to have a strong 302 in it, he upgraded to a 351 Windsor, and then upgraded to another 351W block with a stroker crank to the tune of 408 cubes now, and it also now has a 4-speed Toploader manual trans like it shoulda had to begin with. I went over to his house today to borrow a set of ramps to work on my car, and it's progressed WAY further than what's in these photos......has a matching hardtop, ducktail spoiler, full hood with - get this - fully functional SHAKER hood scoop and some very tasty silver/gray dual racing stripes with pinstriped outlines. Just a gorgeous machine...and, well, shall we say.... POTENT!!!

Hoping to go to one of his SCCA autocross events and watch him run it....will get pictures of mass amounts of smoking tires if I do!
