The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

It's the initial and not quite successful version of the AT-L with the original suspension, replaced by the flat track suspension seen on the far more common AT-LM. _________________ 1/72 and 1/76 scale fanatic.

You're welcome. Even before the photos loaded, I had this nagging suspicion it would be about the early version. Steve Zaloga mentions it in his book "Soviet Tanks And Armored Vehicles 1946 to the Present." P.S.: "Present" being about 30 years ago, lol. _________________ 1/72 and 1/76 scale fanatic.
