The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. Post subject: Battlefield Vegas AFVs Gallery

Hi all,

During a recent tour stop in Las Vegas, we paid a visit to Battlefield Vegas to document what we could of their collection of AFVs. Listed below is what we saw and photographed.

Unfortunately, the USMC vet Sherman was NOT viewable as it is undergoing restoration.

Due to a combination of running short on time and high winds on the day of our shoot, we couldn’t get high angle images of everything.

Vagabond, those are not Panzer 61s, those are Leopard 1s!! Also, the Saracen and M3 Halftrack are under restoration as well. Additionally, there are 2 more M548s in storage Great shots!

As Silvio pointed out, those are Leopards. All former Belgian army, the correct type is Leopard 1A5BE. The serials are in fact the registration numbers, serials are on the right on the glacis. Seems our retired Leo's popping up al around the world ( for now I know of some in Australia, USA, Poland and who knows where....).
On the other hand better than on a range as target.
