hmm... That's a tricky one... though I think I can figure it out. I think it may be, just a guess, the Spruce Goose. Wink

The Spruce Goose is a very famous plane, it's the only one of it's type. It's the largest aircraft ever built. and only ever flew once. It was supposed to be a cargo aircraft during WWII, but it didnt' fly until 1947, and therefore was more of a concept aircraft than anything. It's now housed at the Evergreen Aviation Museum in McMinnville, Oregon.

And just to show you how big it is:

Spruce Goose
- Wingspan: 319' 11"
- Length: 218' 8"
- Height: 79' 4"

Airbus A380
- Wingspan: 261' 10"
- Length: 238' 8"
- Height: 79'

Boeing 747-400
- Wingspan: 211' 5"
- Length: 231' 10"
- Height: 63' 8"

Boeing 777
- Wingspan: 199' 11"
- Length: 242' 4"
- Height: 60' 9"

- SFC_Jeff_Button Or better yet, where and when this might have been taken? Los Angles Harbor, 1947, very close to the one day Mr. H. pulled it off the water and proved that it could really fly.
