Tamiya sitting figures from 8ton or FAMO
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: Tamiya sitting figures from 8ton or FAMO
Hi Guys-
Tamiya's kit of the German 8ton halftrack artillery prime mover had figures sitting in the back, as does the FAMO. Do any of you have these figures and would you be willing to part with them?
I have Baluard's German rail passenger car (3 guesses which recently released kit will be towing it, the first 2.99 guesses dont count!) and I intend to use these figures as passengers after extensive conversion. The conversion will mean that only the bottoms of these figures will be used with any number of different tops used to provide a wide variety of passengers, some civilian some not. Basicaly, I need pairs of legs that are in a sitting position and these Tamiya figures are the only quick solution that I can think of. Lastly, I am offering nothing in trade as there is nothing in my collection that I am anxious to part with. However, if you are looking for some spare parts, I have quite an extensive collection. So, maby we can help each other out?
