The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

This is from the Gold Star Museum at Camp Dodge - whats the tank next to the M56 Scorpion?

BTW, yes, I also see the Bradley.

Neil,
I brighened it way up and think it might be an M42 Duster with a rusty or otherwise mismatched color "turret" (or maybe has some canvas or something on it).

I can't tell for sure if that light bit is on it, or beyond it.

Hello from Austin,
I also say it is an M42.
That flat surface at the rear give it away.
I also belive there is a canvas tarp over the fighting compartment.

So where is camp dodge?

Hi Neil! Hi Folks!

I have to agree with Doug and Worth. M42 with a cover over the open turret. Looks a lot like I what I used to see here at Ft. Bliss in the long gone National Guard M42 AIT motor pool that was on the west side of Dyer street.

Sgt, Scouts Out!
