This is part of a series of photographs, showing the tank driving up the bridge, dumping its fascine, driving over the top, plunging down on the other side and moving out. Heres a shot of the plunging part - does appear to make a bit of a crater....

I remember learning how to balance a tank. I was never very good, but some guys could have that thing balanced like a teeter tooter.
