...And yet again, the true story seems to blur...
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

From the pages of the Ft Knox Turret

Restoring Army antiques

RESTORATION SPECIALIST STEVE WISE uncovered an M50 “Ontos he and his team restored. The “Ontos (A Greek word meaning “The Thing) was officially called the Rifle, Multiple 106mm, Self-Propelled M50. During the Vietnam War, enemy forces referred to the anti-tank vehicle as “the world’s biggest shotgun.

Yes, now we know the truth, Don. You didn't have anything to do with the restoration of the Ontos. You were just Photoshopped into all of the photographs. And we also learn that all of the volunteers have a background in mechanics. Smile
