Mine Plow/Roller Question
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

The item with the A-12 bumper #, is the mounting 'BRA' for the Mine Roller.

It is mounted, semi-perminent on the front slope of the M1 series tank, and facilitates the mounting of the two ( left & right ) mine roller assemblies. (visible behind the 'bra' ).

In 1992, at Ft Hood, my unit ( 3/8 CAV ) received a class by Redstone Army Depot personnel on the proper mounting, operation, & dismounting of the Mine Roller & Mine Plow.
