After spending weeks trying to find a torrent file of the series and not having the Military or Discovery Channel I found this website that has the Tank Overhaul series in a streaming DVIX format.

I'm using Firefox as a browser and you have to download and install a plug in from the site, but so far so good for watching the show.

The link to the series is about 3/4 of the way down on the list posted on the right

Warning: Be careful when you download the Active X controls. It'll put in a Yahoo! Toolbar if you don't deselect a box.

Mark is right about the Yahoo toolbar. Make sure you uncheck the option to install it.

I just checked out the "Battletank" infomercial. I say infomercial as I've never seen Swedish AFV's featured so prominently in any show previous or current. It "must" have been commissioned by the Swedish Defense Administration (FFV) Smile

. The IKV91's mainly featured never went beyond the prototype stage (enlarged turret, 105mm gun and add on armor). A lot of prototypes throughout the whole flick actually!

It's always interesting seeing these cold-war era movies.

For those that do have the Military Channel and don't want to watch the parade or football, Tank Overhaul is replaying this morning (and all day) starting at 10:00 A.M. eastern time.

Also, top ten tanks and the must see Tank School is also on that channel.

Get the discs or tapes ready!
