Post subject: Anyone using the Saitek X52 FCS?
If so I need some help programing the profile fo FS9 and FSX. What I want to do is use the rotaries on the throttle to control the prop RPM and the other to control the Mixture. Any ideas?? (before I take it back to the store Sad )

In FSX you can assign the funtions directly to the joystick control.

In FS9 I defined a key sequence and then profiled the joystick to the key sequence using a hat switch.

Never tried mapping it to a rotary control in FS9.
If I get time later I may give it a go.

I haven't had much luck in FS9 and frankly didn't try too hard but in FSX it works quite well and is easy to do.
