Fort Knox today 24 May 2008
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Care to elaborate? Are these items being shipped (today?) to Fort Benning?

Sorry after rereading this, the items pictured are not moving but I noticed inside the museum that the M-20 armored car, the Berlin Jeep, the StugH, Kubelwagen, Schwimmwagen and the Kettenkrad aren't in the museum or at least not on display. I will ask around some tomorrow and see what's going on with them. the plus side is you can get great pics of the Tiger. Anyone need any pics???

Things are being rearranged inside the museum so that runners can be more easily retrieved without moving a lot of other vehicles around. The Panzer III is returning to the museum and other vehicles will be moved around.

Armyjunk, was that you I was talking to about the T29E3 heavy tank Saturday?
