Wow... yeah, it's always a sad day when a plane crashes at an airshow...

I can't say I'm terribly sorry for some of those pilots, though. I'm going through training to be a professional pilot right now, and one of the first things you learn is that if you do something stupid in a plane, you will be killed. It is far better to take the hit on your "macho meter" then to be dead. I mean, flying a B-52 at 90 degree bank? That's just stupid. Completing takeoff in an Osprey that has had an engine strike before even leaving the ground? Stupid. But that one of the Su-27 guys ejecting... that one caught my eyes. Almost got out of that dive. So close!

And that, more than anything, expresses the joys of flight simulation.
I spend much of my flight sim time practicing aerobatics in Il2, im not bad, but I tend to bite off a bit more than I can chew...lol. This is, ofcourse, a learning process.. but in this case, death really is only the begining!
