The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. Russian T-62 1/4 scale model used in research and development to establish Millimeter Wave Target Signatures. This model is about 7 feet long

That looks like the work of master modeler Talal Chouman (or something like that). He worked for the University of Massachusetts-Lowell. He would come to my motor pool at Ft. Devens to take measurements of vehicles so he could re-create radar models. A really nice guy, I spent time with him back in 2003-04 in Mass. _________________ RobG

I remember his crew crawling over my vehicles (they were his students, grad?). he explained that where the vehicle was aluminum, had to be aluminum, rubber, steel, etc. Very thorough guy. _________________ RobG
