no, I wonder where the hull parts come from, and how much of the hull is original..

The hull is new-made.
Some parts of the superstructure are original (front sheet, front-left, back-right).
Suspension is 1/2 original.
Some little details are original.
All original parts are recovered from the ground.

Any info about that project ?

More than 10 years ago on the Poklonnaya Hill arrived remains of PzKpfw IV turret. He was restored as a exhibit, not all parts made correct.
4 years ago we are start idea of made PzKpfw IV F from turret and some hull remains. I was in this project as a "research" side. We are understand- building absolutely correct mock-up is impossible. Need to many original details, plus workers with some "creative" ideas like spare roadwheels box. Also too low time for realisation - only few months. But, anyway, he looks better than "Kubinka Grandfathers" armored nightmare like StuG from Panzer III hull or Marder from PzKpfw 38 (t) hull.

thanks for the details guys, the result is great. Any possibility to get a good picture of the tank in its new environment please? I've done a printscreen of a video for the PDF file, but the quality is not really great.

BTW, i left museum in 28 january. I still help with research, but as a museum staff - no way!
