The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. According to Hunnicutt, these are Teledyne Continental Motors' FAV candidate vehicles. They were evaluated back in 1982 by the 9th ID at Fort Lewis as part of a program to test equipment suitable for light divisions.
It was also mentioned in passing here.
