Post subject: yesterday's great discovery in a French M4A2 Sherman

hello,

The M4A2(75) "Montereau" is a tank that served with the 501st Tank Regiment , 2nd French Armored Division and was knocked out in the Ecouves forest on August 12, 1944. It is currently owned by a French association who does some restoration works. Yesterday, I was there and suggested that we could open the grousers compartments at the rear. Here's what we have found, some 70 years after it has been put inside !!

there were 14 grousers in 1 compartment and 12 on the other side.
