Nice pics, Rick. The first one, btw, shows a GMC T5 half-track truck, built with many COTS components and a Cunningham articulating bogie, leaf spring, tracked suspension (Source: Hunnicutt). _________________ 1/72 and 1/76 scale fanatic.

Thanks Costas. This batch is very mixed up. That GMC T5, and several of the other photos are from Carlisle MHI, a few are the halftrack at Ft. Lewis, One from APG, and a few from the old Ordnance Museum research room. Rick

The command HT is that the Patton command version ? There is a M3 (s) command armoured HT here, saw service with 4th Canadian Armoured Division ,South Alberta Regiment during the war, brought back and used as a CP right up to the late 60's. Now restored and a runner. Anthony

Anthony, I kind of remember that this Command halftrack was Patton's. It was in the 1980s when I was at Carlisle MHI copying photos, so it would need to be verified by someone more familiar with Patton and his vehicles. Rick
