Full Militärmuseum
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Is the ex Pré Giroud G-13 still there? I haven't seen it since a while, I assumed it was shipped somewhere. I guess you saw it around the workshop.

My understanding is that the M7B2 wreck and the almost-wreck M47 come from a fire range in Germany, just like the M44 (who is pretty well restored and on display)

I've seen the ex-Pré Giroud G-13 stored outside, unter a tarpaulin. It was located along the wall of the AFVs display building. It is on the left side when you come to access the AFVs building.

Interesting, I don't think it was there last time I visited. I'll check it out next time and ask around about what's planned for it

and yes, the M7B2 wreck comes from a fire range in Germany, and I'm not sure that the restored M7B2 comes from the Bundeswehr. If it was the case, I should have found the serial above the diff. housing. The restored M7B2 may come directly from the US army.

The restored M7B2 has been on display since quite a long time, I have pics dating back to 2008. I always assumed it came from somewhere else, but it's just speculation.

For few years, I was a member of the Musée de l'Abri association in Hatten, Alsace, France. I know that they received two Panzer 68 in exchange for a complete M7B2, and I guess it is this one. I should be able to confirm this as soon as I'm back home.

I was there last month with a fellow forum member. Took less pictures than usual, mostly with wide-angle.
There are some news, the 40 mm Bofors is now restored and on display:

It's an interesting piece, it was build in Wien under license in 1938.
I saw it first 3 years ago in the workshop:

Hi Massimo! Kind of off topic but how do you Guys like Flickr for a hosting site? I just got back from my whirlwind museum trip and have 4000+ photos to sort out. I'd like to share them on something besides PB. BTW I picked up a Nikon S9900 that can be remote controlled with my smartphone, seems to work pretty good.

Cheers,
Jim

I have been using Flickr since 2010 and it fits my needs very well.
If you share pictures on Facebook remember that you give them all the rights once you upload anything (that's not the case with Flickr).

Let us know more about remote controlling with the smartphone, that's could be the ultimate solution for pole shots.

I am looking forward to hear about the tour as well!
