Operation in Afghanistan
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Thanks for that, that was a well balanced and interesting report especially for people who may NOT be really aware of some of the nuances.

The son of an aquaintance of mine has returned from there recently. His biggest problem with the ANA troops was their fierce bravery. Sounds strange to say that but they appeared to often do things with complete disregard for their own life occasionally to the detriment of their friends and allies.
