Post subject: Multiplayer night scene...

~S~

My night flying qualifications mission (CFS-2) works fine in Single Missions but when we do MPSutil to fly online...whoops...it's day time.

Anyone have a solution to this problem?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,
Ken

~S~ Kafco,

There are two ways to deal with this as far as i know. None of them are perfect, but you can give it a try:

1.
Use Cfo weather to set time. Downside is that you need to agree which time to set and then ask all players to set it in Cfo. Cfo can be downloaded here:

www.cfsops.com/

2.
Use a location where it is always dark. Downside is that you are tied to a limited area of the world map. Stars and moon on this location:

S69*0.00
E1*48.00

You can experiment on moving the coordinates to get less darkness if it's too dark.

If the location is important to the mission, then Cfo would probably be the easiest way to deal with it.

~S~Nil_7,

Seems that I'm not the only person who has looked at this problem.

Thanks, I will try both of your suggestions.

Ken
