Roy,

Is this the gun sitting along side US-70/54 btwn Alamogrodo and Tularosa, NM?

If it is that gun has been sitting there since the early 90's. When I was stationed out at WSMR while in the USN I would pass it all the time on my way to Ruidosa.

I can't seem to be able to post more than 3 attachments.
Here is the builder's info off the breech.

I didn't notice before but there is an "A2" stamped above the M1. Does this mean that this gun was modified to a M1A2 model?
