Australian Armoured Cars - Register
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Bialy-r,

I did some research on the S1 scout car and there is not much to be found of it
Apperently 37 vehicle's where build at Ford USA during WW2 and of these 37 car's 1 was build 4x4.

There are only 2 survivers.
1 is privatly owned and is also the only runner

www.mapleleafup.org/fo...p?p=105502

the other is at the: The Beck Museum Australia.
This is an private museum, and has no website (or I just did not find it)
I could not find picture's of this vehicle

Michel

hello,

I've done an update of the Australian armoured cars today. Does John Belfield still own some military vehicles? He seems to have sold many of them in the previous years..
