Where did the Pressed Steel Car Company make their tanks?
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

I know their plant in Chicago (Hegewisch) produced them. But did they have any other plant(s)/location(s) that prodcued AFVs during WWII? Could the Chicago plant have made them all?

That is the only plant I know of that made AFVs. I believe that PSC also made artillery carriages or the like, but not sure where. KL

Excellent - thanks! That is absolutely amazing that they churned out all those tanks from just that one plant. Just did a quick sanity check on the numbers for the M4A1(76)W where they built 3426 from Jan 44' - June 45.. that would be about 190 a month or 43 a week or 8.7 a day (with a 5 day work week) Sounds doable.
