Post subject: OFF-TOPIC Funeral for Deputy/Soldier

Sorry for going off topic but I'm posting this because it may be of interest to 11th ACR/Fort Irwin folks. Crying or Very sad

Las Vegas, Nevada May 1st, 2010
Deputy Ian Deutch of the Nye County Sheriff's Office was laid to rest today. Last week he was shot to death by a gunman having a bad day with his girlfriend. Deputy Deutch was a member of the Nevada Army National Guard and had been back on duty for only two days after returning from a tour in Afghanistan. He belonged to 1 Squadron (Wildhorse), 221st Cavalry a unit attached to the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment at Fort Irwin, California. He leaves a wife and two children.
