SADF/SANDF Equipment
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

The link is to a personal website of a National Serviceman who was drafted at age 17 into the SADF in 1977 and retired in 1989 as a Major. His service included artillery operations in Namibia, military intelligence and air photo interpretation. Interesting to read about the old SADF, although clearly nostalgic for the way it was.

Plenty of grainy snapshots, including Angolan T34s and a few odd armoured cars. Sort of look like the small BTR, but not the same lines.
