Trumpeter and Italeri's WWII US Navy LCM (3) Landing Craft
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Post subject: Trumpeter and Italeri's WWII US Navy LCM (3) Landing Craft

Hi Guys-
Back when these two kits first came out, a reviewer pointed out that Trumpeter's hull was to deep according to plans. The reviewer was not certain if Trumpeter actually got it wrong or may have been making a different version. Was this ever sorted out conclusively? I mean is the Trumpeter hull just plain wrong or were there variations in hull depth depending on different manufacturers?
With thanks-
Geoff Steer [;-{/) Shocked
