Russian CVC helmet....
The AFV ASSOCIATION was formed in 1964 to support the thoughts and research of all those interested in Armored Fighting Vehicles and related topics, such as AFV drawings. The emphasis has always been on sharing information and communicating with other members of similar interests; e.g. German armor, Japanese AFVs, or whatever.

Greetings, clanky-thing types....

A fellow JG300 member (active duty of many years, soon to be deployed) writes:

"got an old Russian Tanker CVC helmet - navy blue with the soft ribs along the top, several leather adjustment straps concealed throughout, working speakers and throat mic (tested it myself on a T-72 a few years back. Looking to sell it - any of your AFV buddies able to provide me an idea of what it may be worth in value? I can send a pic if it will help. It's in excellent shape with just a little color fading on one of the ear pieces on the side."

If he sends me a pic, I'll post it. Those are all the details I have at the moment. Any advice for him?
