Post subject: Saturday Night - "Cavalcade of Phlegm"

...and destruction!

So-named in honor of one of JG300-Hunt's last nights of flying for a spell.....while he's a bit under the weather, at that. LOTSA pix for this one, had a pretty good night!!!

Coupla shots of JG300-Deputy_Dale righteously defending the Allies.....a headon pass close enough to see the falling shell casings as he goes by.....

Don't think we got a piece of either on this pass but it sure looked cool!

Dale certainly had his hands full as a buncha Sau's go after him....

But hey! He succesfully fought 'em off (GOOD JOB DUDE!!!!) and lead his team to victory!!!!

Lotsa players making for an excellent, target-rich environment....

Fr8ycat's dragging two spits here, you can just see 'em there past the gunsight reticule.....man I love it when they line up like that....can't decide which one to shoot? Get'em both with the same burst!

Even ran into FF_Stepchild!!!! Dude what kinda cologne was that you were wearing? Eau du AvGas???

The FBEJ crew was spoilin' for a squad match, but it didn't pan out, what with horrible lag, 3 minutes for each plane to spawn (out in the boonies) and a lack of proper settings due to them being in the usual rush. This is about all I got out of it.......it was totally unplayable unfortunately....

So, when the blood-lust goes unsatisfied, there's only one way to fix it - Mountain Bomber Dogfight!!! With Rockets!!!!!

JG300-Hunt receives a 'treatment' for his tracheal bronchitis with a prescribed expectorant....looks like at least one of my rockets connected!

Down low over the water with Dan......got in a nice deflection shot with the cannon here....

Can't hit squat with those rockets but I like to think they add quite a bit of pucker factor!!

Pattin' Hunt on the back to help him cough up some more phlegm and get better...he repaid the favor by re-shaping the nose of my B-25H with his tail guns.....

"SAILFST" was doing pretty good and I think won a game or two.....gotta love the close-range 75MM kill!

Here's what I thought was a nice shot, from about 912 yards away (or am it feet? Meters?) Anyways, check the impact explosion from the hit, this is a rare occurence of a B-25 taking a 75MM hit and not coming apart in flames!

Hunt takes out "wolmann" there with a cannon kill while SAILFST is trying to do the same thing, I'm trying to line up and take SAILFST out while my waist gunner is peggin' Hunt who's off to the right side, and someone behind us is lobbin' ammo at SAILFST!

JG300-Dan736 helps Hunt cough out more phlegm with a sweet cannon kill!

During a tight head-on pass with JG300-WILLIFOKK, the gunner took his sweet time loading the next round into the cannon and the salvo was fired at less than 100yds (or is it feet?).....anyways it was just in the nick o'time......heh heh..

Gotta love the 'engine falling through space' effect......

Went outside to get an external shot of my horribly beaten B-25 and took the pic just as someone's cannon shell slammed into me! LMAO!!

Live by the sword, die by the sword!

I'm glad Deputy_Dale's on our side (except for last night, LOL).

Man at one point we were all on his tail and couldn't get him. I unloaded all my ammo on him and didn't hit him once Laughing

The bombers were cool although I never really flew em so wasn't sure what was going on. Stoopy's help with the trim on the B-25 helped. Used Hunts tip to switch to gunner positions and couldn't figure out how to get back to the cockpit so my Bomber sailed off into the sunset with me in the tail screaming to the pilot "fight you coward!". Laughing

I tried to do this last night, but ended up staying online until around 0300 Mountain playing CFS3! That's what I get for sleeping 17hours the night before I guess! Stoopy beat me to the punch, but I got a couple good ones to share, heh heh heh:

Dan and I prowling the skies looking for te next victim

The ellusive Deputy Dale. This shot corresponds to the one Stoopy took of all of us chasing him. At this point, I too had dumped ammo and was trying to use the only thing I had left - my prop!

I too decided to take a step out of my bomber to assess damage, and wouldn't ya know, no running props, holes, fire, smoke (thanks Stoopy! Mr. Green ):

For some reason, and it was completely coincidental, I kept running into Stoopy!:

But on the flip side, he kept finding me as well. This was actually taken from my tailgunner position - notice him flinging those bottle rockets around:

Dan too felt the wrath of my tail gunner (I owe that man a few beers). When I knew someone was behind me, the best thing I could to was go to tailgunner and blast away myself. F8 for gunners and F6 to go back to cockpit Richard:

Only grabbed one score capture last night:

Man did I have a blast! Did end up flying with FBEJv Ginsu last night again. At a first glance, he is a pretty good guy. But we ended up in a 45% room and he about had a cow. Got to the point he insulted the host enough about what a travisty it was not to host a 85% game that the host relented and changed his room. Then he complained the weapons were too strong (he was getting his but handed to him by me and Smoking Ace). Then Ace and I brought up Limited Ammo - that didn't go over well. We talked about WEC rules and reasoning behind it - no avail. Gave a ~S~ and bid a goodnight after a few more games in silence.

Ah well, can't win em all. Willy and I ended up in a room with Rufus and I think Dan for awhile as well, didn't grab any pics, but had a blast! Even got Rufus into a 190 for a little while.

Ya, after unloading my ammo and not hitting him I chased him down, got right up next to him but couldn't bring myself to ram him. Figured he'd lasted that long I'd let him be, not to mention It just seemed wrong to Bonzai one of our own......even though he was on the wrong side. Wink

I'm sure in the future I'll regret it. Laughing

Oh I managed to dump most of my rounds into him, apparent by his inability to turn much. That wiley guy just kept jinking as I got close enough to reach out and touch him! Besides, if the roles were reversed, I know he would do the same for me! Mr. Green
