We’ve seen the need to update our old site as it was getting “long in the tooth” and falling short of keeping up with modern software and ever fast paced world of change. With security being of the utmost concern these days, the old Com-Central site was falling behind. We noticed a huge attack from BOTS on the old site and while measures were taken to keep them from gathering the intel we didn’t want them to have. With all change comes some Pros and Cons, and this change was no exception. The Pro’s are mainly in security and keeping up with changes in modern software. The Cons are we lost a lot of content that can’t be ported over and that means a new beginning. One of those “new beginnings” are the registrations for everyone. Registration for the Com-Central Forums is something we all have to do to proceed with the new site. This was a big decision as the old Com-Central Forums had over 8800+ registered users.
